Stuck on Stupid or How Not to Act at Arlington Cemetery (UPDATED)

So what will be done about the lack of respect? Nothing was done about Jane Fonda!

If she was there on a trip with her employer, then her actions reflect on her employer. Perhaps LIFE should exercise their right to free speech with those glorious words "you're fired".

There are many veterans that are interred in Arlington that command a lot more respect that was shown, from the photo displayed, she appears far old enough to know better. There are no nice comments that I have to refer to her dispictable actions and behavior. I am both angry and disappointed in this attitude. I, as many other vets would have escorted her and her friend from the premises minus a camera accompanied by a few choice ($&#%^**+) words; but that would have lowered us to her level.... Lower than the belly of a snake in a sewer.

I'm not an American but I've eaten the same dirt and felt the same memorable terror the rest of you who are commenting on this page have. I used to like and admire you folks, actually strike that.... I used to love you, because when I was a kid you were not only your country's, you were the planet's Greatest Generation. And now this.

Congratulations Ms Stone, you just made a complete ass out of yourself on national news. Maybe you should spend a week or so at the gate to ANC holding a sign that reads "I'm a joke. Arlington National Cemetery is not." What was it that Ron White once said? "You can't fix stupid."

First we as Veterans and the Family's of the fallen have to deal with a certain So called Church in Kans protesting at fallen Solder's Funerals, Now this, I guess the new generation has no respect for anyone including themselves. Ms Stone I hope you are proud of your picture which shows the ultimate Disrespect at the Tomb of the Unknown and all that are buried there. I hope the next time you ask for help from any State or Federal office or anyone connected with the U.S. Military you get a swift trip to the wood shed, as a grown woman you should have more sense than posting a picture like that, if that's how you choose to re-bell against the U.S.A. and it's Military (KEEP IT TO YOURSELF). Nuff Said

This may be above you and your friends Ms. Stone but, take away the people in authority and do you know what you have? Answer: Different people in authority! Idiot. Rebelling against authority in general. Have you ever witnesses death? The men and women buried here will never see any friends or family until they are joined in heaven. Why? So you can flip them off with your disrespect. Some day hopefully, you will grow up. Stop doing things that will embarress yourself late!

I lived across the road from Ft Myers/ Arlington Cemetery, and often visited and walked around the cemetery. Never, in the years I was there, did I see anyone, young or old, behaving other than respectfully. It is difficult to even imagine, much less have to see such an image, especially near the Tomb of the Unknown. This young woman has shown remarkable ignorance about her country and sadly shamed herself.
